Hockey Games and BBQ Aprons
When they mean it, they truly say Saturday Night’s Alright for a Fight. I learned about new hockey penalties…spearing anyone? At least on this Saturday night, Adirondack apparently came out ready to hit hard and get messy if need be. For a while, I thought we were going to spend the entire game in a constant power play.
Back in my favorite accessible seats in Section 123, I was for this game, which provide a solid view of everything except the extreme right corner. People will still not look where they are walking, but that’s unavoidable. These seats are good because they have the easiest entry-exit and path to the elevator of the three sections Ticketmaster lists as accessible. As I have previously covered in reviews, I have cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair on a daily basis.
But what was going on with the giveaway item that night at Jon Pardi? I had some guy just randomly hand me a barbeque apron and my mom said she saw another person carrying a stack of fifty. That minor weirdness aside, it was a great night and topping everything off Jon Pardi won 4-0, which meant haircuts and doughnuts for everyone! I always have a great time at Jon Pardi.
Favorite moment: When the Jon Pardi player got a penalty for spearing.
